This is part one of what I imagine will be a continued rant.
I want a friggin' sweater vest! Everyone else gets them (go watch Juno or Dancing with the Stars for crying out loud, that's got to be the pop culture gamut) and I want one. An argyle one and a navy blue with a white stripe on the v neck collar one. I have been looking for three years at least now. Don't tell me to make one bacause I am not going to learn how to knit well that quickly. Just find me one and tell me where to go get it. 'k?

- I like books and I like people and I like books about people (as long as they aren't only depressing (the books that is, not the people))

I have a shirt with an argyle pattern on it, but I've managed to stay away from sweater vests - mostly because I rarely layer clothing, of course ... and haven't you heard what Demetri Martin has to say about them?
I had a sweater vest in high school, iot was navy blue. I got rid of beacaaue it was unhip. Oh how I miss that sweater vest. I got it for 50cents at a thift store in elmwood. You could just remodel a sweater. I could do it for you.
I will go listen to Demetri Matrin but I think he and I may just have to agree to disagree on this point (plus boobs make all the difference!) I am going to try remodelling a sweater I have but if things go awry (or probably even if they don't) I will gladly take some help in my vest search / creation Anne.
